Omega Labyrinth Z Western Release has been Cancelled

Publisher PQube announced that they will no longer release Omega Labyrinth Z for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in North America and Europe.

“PQube strives to release Japanese content for its fans as close to the source material as possible,” PQube said in a statement. “In the case of Omega Labyrinth Z, while PQube has worked with all relevant age rating bodies in their respective territories, PQube must respectfully comply with the wishes of the platform holder and have therefore withdrawn any future plans for Omega Labyrinth Z’s European and North American release on PS4 and PS Vita.”

Omega Labyrinth Z was also banned from release in five countries, those included the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.

  1. Very disappointed with this decision, as my Vita is in desperate need of new games. It’s not Sony’s place to ban a game if the age rating boards had deemed it acceptable. The game came out with no issue is Japan so I don’t appreciate the EU and US branches forcing their morals on us.
