Zero no Kiseki/Trails from Zero: Side Quest Guide

Throughout each Chapter in Zero no Kiseki (Trails from Zero), there are many side quests that will earn you more DP. Here is a guide on how to find and complete all of them.

Prologue.

Support Request Explanation:

First head over to the Administrative District and go into CSPD Building. Talk to the receptionist Rebecca to accept the quest. Select each of the 4 options to learn about support requests, then the 5th option to finish the quest.

Rewards: 5 DP, 1500 Mira.

Once you’ve finished the quest, go back to the SSS building and examine the PC, and choose the 2nd option to report it. Choose the first option again to accept 3 more quests.

Lost Item Search:

Head to the Entertainment District and go into the Hotel, Millennium. Talk to Tront in a room on the 2nd floor to accept the quest. Then go to Times Department Store in Central Square. Talk to the receptionist Cynthia. Next go to East Street and talk to the fish merchant Marte. From there head to the Harbor District. Talk to Ozelle at the ramen stand then Talk to Cunha who is walking around the district. Finally head back to Hotel Millenium and Talk to Tront again to return his stuff and clear the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 1000 Mira.

Vacancy Verification:

First head over to City Hall in the Administrative District. Talk to the receptionist Shion to accept the quest. Then go to the Residential Street and examine the gate of the house closest to the east exit. Next go to the Fisherman’s Guild on East Street and talk to the guys inside. From there head to the Acacia Apartments on East Street. Examine the locked door on the 2nd floor. After that go to the Lotus Heights in the Downtown District and examine the left door on the 2nd floor. Finally head back to City Hall and Talk to Shion again to report the results to clear the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 1000 Mira.

Geofront A1 Sector Monster Extermination:

Return to the same spot where you rescued the boys and fought the Ice Gummies in Geofront A to fight Brave Bat x4, Megalo Bat.

Rewards: 5 DP, 1500 Mira.

General Knowledge Test (Hidden)

*Note*Available after you spoke to Grace at the restaurant.

Head to the Bracer’s Guild and talk to the receptionist. He will challenge you to a game of trivia to find out how much you know about the world. All the information for the questions and answers can be found in the books at the library.  To save some time here are the answers as followed:

  1. Approximately 50 years ago.
  2. Professor C. Epstein/C.
  3. Septium Fragments.
  4. The Golden Stallion.
  5. Verne Company.
  6. Septian Church.
  7. Congregation for Divine Worship.

Chapter 1:

Overdue Book Retrieval:

Start by going to the Library and talk to Miles at the front desk to accept the quest. Next go to Bellheim Apartments on West Street and talk to Pansy in a room on the lower level. Then go to the Acacia Apartments on East Street. Talk to Clarissa in the room on the right on the first floor. From there head to the CSPD Building and talk to Raymond by the vending machines. Finally head back to the Library and talk to Miles again to return the books and complete the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 1000 Mira.

Assistance With New Service:

Head to the IBC Building way up in the northern part of the city’s map.
Talk to the receptionist Lanfei to accept the quest.
Exchange 30 of each type of sepiths to finish the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 1000 Mira.

Hunting for Ingredients:

First talk to Oscar at the Bakery in West Street.
He wants some ingredients.
– 4 Monster Fish Meat.
– 3 Monster Wings.

Monster Wings are easy to get, and you should have more than enough when you reach Armorica Village.

As for the Monster Fish Meat, you’ll have to wait until you reach the 3rd screen of the St. Ursula byroad. There will be a monster chest that spawns some enemies that will give you enough Monster Fish Meat. You can also get these by giving a Nekomanma (Cat Treat) to Koppe in the S.S.S. HQ rooftop.

*Note* If you want to earn the full amount of DP for this quest, go and talk to Bennett at the back of the store (the lady to the Left), she will request an additional 2 Monster Wings. If you choose to wait until you return from Armorica Village to deliver, you will have an excess of them. Once you got all ingredients, return to the Bakery and deliver the requested items to Bennett First. Then you can go and give Oscar his stuff and finish the quest with all 6 DP in the bag.

Rewards: 3(+3)DP, 1500 Mira.

Search for Kitten’s Owner (Hidden):

*Note*Available after you’ve returned from Armorica Village.

Head to the Bellheim Apartments on West Street and talk to Ryu in a room on the lower level to accept the quest. Next talk to Pansy in the room next door. From there talk to Momo in front of Tallys’ General Store. Now go to Grimwood Law Office and Talk to Pete. Then go to the Heyworth’s House in the Residential Street. Head to the second floor talk to Colin. From there go talk to Sunita in the other house at the bottom of the stairs. Next examine the gate of the house at the top of the stairs. Try to exit via the south exit for an event. Go towards the north exit and talk to Sunita again to give her the kitten and complete the quest.

Rewards: 5 DP, 500 Mira

Chapter 1- Day 2:

Passanger Raid/Inspection Assistance Wanted:

Talk to Mr. Quatro, who can be found next the left side ticket counter in the Crossbell Train Station (he wears dark clothes) to begin the quest. Once you’ve spoken with him, head to the number 2 platform and speak to him again. Lloyd will have to interrogate the people in the train car. After talking to everyone go and speak to the family again, pay special attention to the kid on the left side of the train. From there talk to the purple-haired passenger again sitting alone on the right side.
Doing that will complete the quest.

Rewards: 3(+2)DP, 2000 Mira.

Abandoned Apartment Monster Cleanup:

Head to Imelda Antique Shop in the Back Alley and talk to Imelda to accept the quest and obtain the Key to Maison Imelda. Now go to Maison Imelda located in the Downtown District (near Ignis). Examine the door and use the key to enter the building.
Defeat ALL the enemies to trigger an event. Go back up to the main entrance for an event and a new path will open up. Elie and Tio will also temporarily leave the party. In the new area, defeat all the enemies, then enter the door after the orbment station for a boss fight.
Boss: Mosquito x4, Superior Mosquito.
Defeat the boss to finish the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 2500 Mira.

Mainz Mountain Path Monster Extermination:

This monster is located on the next screen when taking the right path at the crossroad. It’s the big yellowish bird by the dead end near the beginning of the path.
Defeat the Monster to complete the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 2000 Mira.

Longing for Misshi (Hidden):

*Note*Available after you return from St. Ursula Medical College.

Head over to the Old Dragon Inn on East Street and talk to Lars & Kurt in one of the bedrooms to accept the quest. Then head to the Entertainment District and go into Barca Casino. Go to the exchange counter and buy the Mishy Plushy accessory for 200 medals.
You can either buy medals with mira, or play casino games to win them. Finally head back to the Old Dragon Inn and Talk to Lars & Kurt again to give them the plush and clear the quest

Rewards: 5 DP, 500 Mira.

Chapter 2:

Enigma Combat Test:

Start by going to Genten Orbal Shop in Central Street and talk to the receptionist Wendy to accept the quest.  She will ask you to use the mirage art Hollow Sphere, which casts the Stealth status effect once, in battle. To be able to use it, you need 6 mirage quartz, 3 water and 3 air. Either Tio (beacuse she has the water oriented slots) or Elie (air ones)
are better suited for this task. It is just a matter of allocating the right quartz on their arrays and using the art in battle. Once you’ve used it, you can return to Wendy to report the results and clear the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 1500 Mira, Libra Gem.

Guardian Force Drill Participation:

Talk to Commander Sonya of Tangram Gate. Then agree to her request by picking the 2nd choice. You will have to fight two battles against the Guard Corps.

First Fight:
Boss: Guardsman – Assault Rifle, Guardsman – Halberd x3.

Second Fight:
Boss: Sergeant Major Seeker, Guardsman – Assault Rifle, Guardsman – Halberd x3.

Rewards: 4(+3)DP, 3000 Mira.

West Crossbell Highway Monster Extermination:

Boss: Nepenthes G x3
Location: A Giant plant located at the Bus Stop halfway from Crossbell City to Bellguard Gate.
*Note*(Equip an item that prevents poison)

Rewards: 4 DP, 2000 Mira.

Old Road Property Monster Extermination:

Talk to Chief Tolta in the back-most house to accept the quest and acquire the Private Property Key. Take the bus from Armorica Village to the intersection and go north to the next area. Now examine the wooden gate here and use the key to open it.
Defeat the 5 groups of Fartacus (8 per battle).

Rewards: 5 DP, 2500 Mira.

*Note!* (If playing the Vita version be sure to open a treasure chest that contains the Feather Tackle.
It’s important for a Vita Exclusive Sidequest. There are only two chest in that area so open both of them.)

Vita exclusive sidequest below. If you are not playing the Vita Version skip to the next part.

Ultimate Bread Showdown!(Vita Exclusive):

Head over to Morges’ Bakery on West Street and talk to the chef Morges in the back room to accept the quest. Next obtain at least 6 Red Flies dropped from Kesalan on Ursula Road. Then go to St. Ursula Medical College and catch 3 Kasagin using the Feather Tackle and Red Flies. Now go to the Harbor District and catch 3 Angelfish using the Feather Tackle and Red Flies.

From there obtain the following monster ingredients:
Beast Flesh x5.
Clear Gelatin x3.
Fish Fillet x3.
Monster Egg x5.

Check the Battle Notebook and look through it to see which enemies drop these.

Also obtain the following:
Luscious Orange.
Crying Onion.

These drop from enemies or can be bought.

Finally go back to Morges’ Bakery and talk to Morges again to hand over the ingredients to complete the quest.

When prompted to give something extra to Oscar, choose Luscious Orange/情熱オレンジ (+1DP).

When prompted to give something extra to Bennet, choose Crying Onion/号泣オニオン (+1DP).

Rewards: 3(+2)DP, 5000 Mira.

Chapter 2- Day 2

Fishing for Ingredients:

Head over to the Old Dragon Inn on East Street and talk to the waitress Shanshan in the Chinese dress to accept the quest. Next obtain at least 5 Earthworms which can be obtained from the following enemies:

Catch at least 5 Eel using the Novice Rod and Earthworms from one of the following locations:

Fnally go back to the Old Dragon Inn and talk to Shanshan again. Choose Eel to hand them over (+5DP) and complete the quest.

Rewards: 3(+5)DP, 1500 Mira.

Testaments Training:

Head to Trinity in the Downtown District and talk to Abbas (guy with sunglasses) to accept the quest and begin 3 consecutive fights. 

Fight 1:
Boss: Vesse, Ryan, Azel, Kientz
Fight 2:
Boss: Slash, Koki, Jedd, Huey
Fight 3:
Boss: Vesse, Ryan, Azel, Kientz, Slash, Koki, Jedd, Huey
*Note*This fight is the first two fights combined.

Rewards: 4(+5)DP, 2000 Mira.

Rare Herb Retrieval:

Take the bus from the south exit to St. Ursula Medical College. Now go through the main entrance, straight through to the next door. Then go through the door to the north, and talk to Professor Ragot to accept the quest. Next go to Crossbell Cathedral and talk to Archbishop Eralda at the altar. Go through the door on the left, through another door, and talk to Father Renton to get the Lupinas Flowers. Finally head back to St. Ursula Medical College and talk to Professor Ragot again to deliver the flowers and complete the quest.

Rewards:  3 DP, 1500 Mira.

East Crossbell Highway Monster Extermination:

This Monster is located on the 1st screen when going from the crossroads towards Tangram Gate. It is the big bull near the exit.
Boss: Savage Horn x2
Defeat the boss to complete the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 2000 Mira.

Vita exclusive sidequest below. If you are not playing the Vita Version skip to the next part.
Search for the Oversleeping Doctor (Vita Exclusive):

Go to St. Ursula Medical College and head to the 2nd floor of the main building, into the door behind the Nurse Center, and talk to the nurse Martha to accept the quest. Then talk to both Cecile and Meifa  in this room. Now exit the room and talk to Philia behind the counter. From there go into room 202 and talk to the nurse Chiron. Go back downstairs and talk to the receptionist Sera on the left.  Now go through the door next to the information counter, through the door to the south, and talk to both Gary and Chaleur.

Now exit the main building, go into the side building, up one set of stairs, into the door to the left of the stairs, and talk to the maid Marone in the hallway. Go back to the previous room, up to the 3rd floor, into the first room on the right, and talk to Gwen. Then exit the building for an event. From there talk to the guard Tony at the front gate. Proceed to examine the bus sign and choose the first option for an event (you will then automatically be back at Crossbell).

Head to Station Street and talk to Lyd walking in front of the station. Next go to Central Square and talk to Kate in front of the bell. Now go to the Administrative District and talk to Chroma at the juice stand. From there head to the Harbor District; talk to Ozelle at the ramen stand, Cunha walking around, and Quine fishing at the dock. Then go to Trinity in the Downtown District and talk to both Wazy and Azel. Proceed to the Library in the Administrative District and talk to the receptionist Miles. Finally go up to the 2nd floor and talk to Ursuline sleeping on the bench to complete the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 3000 Mira.

Lost Wedding Ring (Hidden)
Available: After you come out from Geofront – Sector B.
*Note*To activate it, first you need to speak with Zeit at the S.S.S. HQ after you come out from Geofront – Sector B.

Go talk to Pierre, the head honcho of the C.S.P.D.’s conference room on the 1st floor of the police department. He wants you to find his wedding ring that he lost in a drunken daze. So go back to the S.S.S. HQ to get Zeit. You’ll then be at the entrance of the Casino on Entertainment District. First, examine the “!” mark on the leftmost fence on the terrace just outside the Arc-en-ciel building. Then examine the “!” mark on the bench next to the left entrance of the Hotel Millenium. Enter the hotel then exit through the other
side for a short scene. Go to the Back Alley and enter Imelda’s Shop for another scene. Leave and go to the bar Galante and talk to the bartender. Then talk to Sandra the hostess who is asleep on the bar. You’ll get back the ring and return it to its owner to clear the quest.

Rewards: 5 DP, 1000 Mira

Chapter 3-Day2:

Illegal Parking Crackdown:

Go to the C.S.P.D Building in the Administrative District and talk to the receptionist Rebecca to accept the quest and receive an Approved Vehicle List. Now go out the east exit and examine the back of each vehicle. Then examine the front of the pink car and place a sticker on it (+1DP). Head back to Crossbell, then go out the west exit, and examine the back of each vehicle. Then examine the front of the flashy purple car and place a sticker on it (+1DP). Next examine the license plate on the truck again. From there go back to Crossbell, then out the east exit, and examine the license plate on the car behind the pink one to get an event about duplicate plates (+2DP). Finally return to the C.S.P.D Building and talk to Rebecca again to report the results and clear the quest.

Rewards:3(+4)DP, 1500 Mira.

Important Item Retrieval:

Take the bus from the west exit to Bellguard Gate and go through the main entrance for an event. Next Go to the 2F office and talk to Mireille to accept the quest. Head back to the main area and examine the blue-tarp covered tank. Then go into the dining hall and talk to Stella. From there head up to the top floor, out to the roof and examine the following spots:

Rewards: 3 DP, 1500 Mira.

Geofront B1 Sector Monster Extermination:

Go to the Residential Street and enter Geofront – B Sector.
The Monster is located in the big room just before Jonah’s hideout so take the vent shortcut.
Boss: Big Drome, Dark Attendant x4
Defeat the boss to complete the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 2000 Mira.

Missing Associate Professor:

Take the bus from the south exit to St. Ursula Medical College and talk to the receptionist Sera to accept the quest. Take the bus back to Crossbell and go to the Fisherman’s Guild on East Street for an event and receive the Bamboo Rod. Next take the bus from the south exit to the intersection and walk towards the stairs for an event. Now go down the stairs and talk to Joachim in the white lab coat near the chest at the top. Then talk to the blue-haired fisherman Lloyd in the bottom area twice to get the following:

Earthworm x5
Red Flies x5.

At the fishing spot near Lloyd (the fisherman), catch at least 1 Kasagin using the Feather Tackle with Red Flies. Then go to the fishing spot near the monster chest, and use the Novice Rod with Kasagin bait to catch a Catfish (+3DP. If you already have a Catfish in your inventory, you don’t need to catch another one and will still get the bonus DP.)
Talk to the guy in the brown hat and choose the 2nd option to compare fish and complete the quest.
*Note*You will automatically return back to St. Ursula Medical College

Rewards:5(+3)DP, 3000 Mira.

Chapter 3-Day 3:

Mine Monster Cleanup:

Take the bus from the north exit to Mainz Mining Village. Head into the mayor’s house at the back and talk to Mayor Bickson to accept the quest and to receive the Abandoned Mine Key. Exit the house, go to the upper level, and enter the mines. Then proceed all the way north, examine the locked door (choose the 1st option to use the key to open it), and enter it to get to the abandoned mines.

Defeat ALL groups of enemies in the mine to trigger an event.
*Note* that they can’t be defeated with field attacks and must be defeated through normal battle.

After you defeat the last group, choose the 1st option to go back to the mayor’s house and complete the quest or the 2nd option to continue exploring. If you chose to continue exploring, just head back to the mine entrance to complete the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 3000 Mira.

Stalker Investigation:

Go to Arc en Ciel in the Entertainment District and talk to Ilya by the stage to accept the quest and receive Ilya’s House Key.
The party goes automatically to her home, located at the top of the Villa Leysin.
Once inside check the two “!” marks, one by the table with the wine bottles and the other on the bed. Next, go and talk to every person inside this building shown below:

  1. The maid in the hallway of the second floor.
  2. The couple living in the 2nd floor apartment.
  3. And the couple living in the 1st floor apartment.

Then go out through the exit on the back of the stairs at the 1st floor (it is a bit hard to see). Go to where the chest is located and check the “!” mark for a scene. Return to the apartment for some more scenes, and the quest is over.
(Optional) Go back to Arc en Ciel and talk to the receptionist Roland and Balsamo by the counter.

Rewards: 3 DP, 1500 Mira.

Old Armorica Road Monster Extermination:

This Monster is located just ahead of the stop point (where the party took a rest back
at the 1st Chapter).
Boss: Sepith Demon x2
Defeat the boss to complete the quest

Rewards: 4 DP, 2000 Mira.

Exposing the Counterfeit Dealers:

Head to the C.S.P.D Building in the Administrative District and talk to Donovan in the room just past the blocked off stairs to accept the quest. Take the bus from the east exit to Tangram Gate. Then go to the office on the 2F and choose the 2nd option to start the investigation. Talk to all 6 people in the dining hall. Next go into the bedroom area, and talk to all 3 people here (excluding the receptionist). Now go back to the dining hall for an event. Exit Tangram Gate and walk towards the bus for an event.

At the 1st prompt, choose the 1st option: Working independently (+1DP)
At the 2nd prompt, choose the 2nd option: The kind old lady who claims she came to Crossbell to see her grandchild for for the first time in three years. Then choose the 1st option: Definitely (+2DP) to complete the quest.
*Note* You’ll automatically return to the C.S.P.D building.

Rewards: 5(+3)DP, 2000 Mira.

Chapter 3 – Day 4:

Serial Theft Investigation:

Head to the Harbor District and talk to the people in front of the white tent to accept the quest. Talk to the following food stand owners (+1DP):

Go back to the Harbor District and talk to the people in front of the tent again
Answer the questions as shown below (+2DP):

3rd option: Stolen while owner is distracted.
3rd option: For their enjoyment.
2nd option: A youthful duo.

Anser the last question as shown below (+2DP):

1st option: Central Square’s sweets stall.

After you complete the quest, talk to the following food stand owners again to get free food as thanks.

Rewards: 3(+5)DP, 1500 Mira.

East Crossbell Highway Monster Extermination:

This Monster is located on the same screen as the fishing spot on the Crossbell City side of the bridge. It is that giant red crab riding a bubble.
Boss: Bubbly Scissors G x2
Defeat the boss to complete the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 2000 Mira.

Missing Tourists:

Take the bus from the east exit to Armorica Village. Go into Ash Tree Inn and talk to the owner Gofan to accept the quest. Now exit the village, go towards the south exit, and go east across the newly fixed bridge to get to Ancient Battlefield. On the first map, take the right branch first as the left branch is blocked by a gate initially. Once you reach the area from the other side, use the lever to open the gate.

Continue to the next area for a boss fight:
Boss: Blade Fang x4
Defeat the Monsters to clear the quest (+3DP)
*Note*After the fight, you’ll automatically be back at Armorica Village.

Rewards: 5(+3)DP 2000 Mira.

The Many Famous Views of Crossbell:

Go to C.N.S Building in the Harbor District and talk to the receptionist Tria to accept the quest. Grace, the reporter wants you to take pictures of tourist locations in Crossbell State.

The following are the 9 locations that you need to Photograph throughout Crossbell:

  1. Armorica Village: Examine the spot to the left of the mayor’s house.
  2. Old Armorica Road (1st area from East Crossbell Highway intersection): Examine the spot near the wooden gate.
  3. Crossbell Cathedral: Go to the graveyard area and examine the spot at the top of the hill to the right of the tomb.
  4. Mainz Mountain Path (intersection): Examine the spot between the two bridges in front of the waterfall.
  5. Mainz Mountain Path (Moon Temple Area): Go all the way to the end and examine the spot in front of the roadblocks.
  6. Ursula Road (1st area from Crossbell): Go east across the bridge and examine the spot on the platform.
  7. Stargazer’s Tower (outside area): Examine the spot on the walkway between two ramps.
  8. West Crossbell Highway (area east of the intersection): Examine the spot in front of the railing overlooking the train tracks.
  9. Ancient Battlefield: Take the right branch from the first area, up the stairs of the small building, and examine the spot behind the bell.

When you have all the pictures go talk to the receptionist of the C.N.S Building. Grace will evaluate your pictures then. If you get all 9 locations, you’ll earn extra DP.
Rewards: 3(+3)DP, 2000 Mira.

Chapter 3 – Day 5:

Urgent Request from City Hall:

Head over to to City Hall in the Administrative District. Go up the stairs and talk to Chief Clipp by a couch to accept the quest. This is a Phantom Thief B side quest which has you go on a hunt for a stolen item by following a series of clues:

  1. The bell at Central Square. Access it by climbing the manhole ladder on
    Geofront – Sector A1, 1st floor.
  2. Check the fish tank on the second floor of the Fishermen Society in East
    Street.
  3. Check the back speaker of the Saber Viper’s hangout ‘Ignis’.
  4. Go to the Crossbell Airport, which is located at the southern exit of Crossbell City (choose the Ursula Byroad option from the city map) and talk to the man who is standing at the Baggage Claim section.
  5. Check the golden plate at the back of the room on the 1st floor of the
    Crossbell Times building.
  6. Go to the Macdowell manor on Residencial District and check the right room
    on the 2nd floor to complete the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 2000 Mira, Sagittarius Gem

Mainz Mountain Path Monster Extermination:

Located in the tunnel 2 screens before Mainz.
Boss: Feathered Mole x4, Grand Mole
Defeat the monsters to complete the quest

Rewards: 4 DP, 2000 Mira.

Where Is the Engagement Ring? (Hidden):
Available: During the Black Auction Investigation once you reach Mishelam.

Talk to Thomas at Hotel Delfina. You can find him on the east side rooms, he’s a blond guy wearing a green jacket. Once you accept his request you need to find bring 3 rings and bring them to Thomas.

Platinum ring. Get it at Fortuna Restaurant.
Gold ring. Gotten around the fishing point by the pier.
Pearl ring. The fountain by the front of the theme park.

Go back to Thomas and show them to him to trigger a scene. Then watch the scene at the bench in the Resort area. You will see a sparkle in the water. Use whichever Rod and Bait to fish it out.

Go back to Hotel Delfinia and talk to Thomas again to return the ring and complete the quest.

Rewards: 5 DP, 1000 Mira, Invigorate Quartz.

Vita exclusive sidequest below. If you are not playing the Vita Version skip to the next part.

Search for a Certain Person:

Head out the north exit of Mishelam and talk to the right staff member in front of the sign to accept the quest.
Go to where the boat is and talk to the green-haired guy by the water. Then Go into Mishelam and talk to the girl walking around near Boutique Colserica. From there go up the stairs to Hotel Delfinia, into the west hallway, and talk to the maids. Finally go back downstairs and out the west exit to complete the quest.

Rewards: 2 DP, 1500 Mira

Intermission:

Geofront A2 Sector Monster Extermination(Hidden):

Talk to Rebecca twice at the C.S.P.D. reception desk.
The Monster is located at the back of the boss room. You can get there easily by taking the left elevator when entering the Geofront.

A Treat for the Mayor (Hidden):

Go to City Hall and talk to Mayor Macdowell in his office, then to the receptionist. Exit the building and walk towards the bushes to the east of the fountain in Station Street. Talk to Chroma at the juice stand to receive an Acerbic Tomato Shake and choose the 1st option to try it. Go back to City Hall and up the stairs and into the mayor’s room to complete the quest.

Rewards: 5 DP, 2000 Mira.

Guest Lecturer for Sunday School(Hidden):

After returning to Crossbell City from the Cathedral, go back to the Cathedral and talk to Sister Marble in her classroom. You will have to take on the role of Sunday School teacher. Choose the following answers during the lecture:

  1. 3rd option: Military.
  2. 1st option: First Investigative Division.
  3. 1st option: To record the progress of investigations.
  4. 1st option: Fifth generation.
  5. 2nd option: Maintaining public order and compliance with state law.
  6. 2nd option: Graduate from the police academy.
  7. 2nd option: The white wolves’ assistance.
  8. 1st option: Geofront A Sector.
  9. 2nd option: Power to interfere with the government.
  10. Any answer.

Rewards: 5(+3)DP, 2000 Mira.

Chapter 4:

State-Wide Overdue Book Retrieval:

Head to the Library in the Administrative District and talk to the receptionist Miles to accept the quest.

1st book:
Head to Armorica Village. Then go into Ash Tree Inn and talk to Alfred sitting at the bar. Now go talk to Elkin in front of the truck by the entrance. Next go into the circular house to the north of Reoir General Store and talk to Donald. Finally go into the small circular building next to the mayor’s house and examine a crate to find Arc en Ciel Enthusiast.

2nd book:
Head to Mainz Mining Village and go into the mine and talk to Logy near the entrance. Go through the mine to the bottom area until you see a sparkle (not the abandoned mine) and examine the sparkle for a fight.
Boss: Nepenthes G x5.
After the fight, you will receive Strange & Wonderful Crossbell.

3rd book:
Head to St. Ursula Medical College and go into the side building and talk to Flora on the couch near the window. Proceed up to the roof, towards the southeast end, and examine the glass doors (choose the 1st option). Then go into the center section and examine the back part of the right bookshelf to find Effective Use of Five Minutes. Head back to Crossbell and go back to the Library. Talk to Miles again to return the books and complete the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 2000 Mira.

A Sincere Favor:

Head to the Old Dragon Inn on East Street and talk to Anton & Ricky in the far bedroom to accept the quest. Then go to C.S.P.D Building in Administrative District and talk to the receptionist Fran. Go back to the Old Dragon Inn and talk to Anton again after which you will be at Times Department Store. Go up to the 2nd floor and talk to Prada at Boutique Lucca across from the stairs. Choose the 1st option to buy the knitted pom beanie. Watch the events that follow to complete the quest.

Rewards: 3(+3)DP, 2500 Mira.

West Crossbell Highway Monster Extermination:

This Monster is located one screen before reaching the bus stop.
Boss: Quetzalcoatl x2
Defeat Boss to clear the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 5000 Mira.

A Present for Father(Hidden):

Head to St. Ursula Medical College and go into room 304, talk to Cecile to accept the quest (twice if you didn’t see her optional event above). Go into room 301 and talk to Michael to get the Gift Box. Then go down to the 2nd floor, into the room behind the Nurse Station, and talk to Meifa to get the Ribbon. Next go down to the 1st floor, east into the Medical Office, through the south door, and talk to Ursuline to get the Pendant Top. Proceed outside and talk to Gary on the bench near the water for an event. Now go into the side building, up one set of stairs, into the hallway, out to an outside area, and examine the small blue & white boxes to get the Knitted Leather String. Finally return back to room 304 of the main building and talk to Cecile again to complete the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 2000 Mira.

Clerk’s Customer Service Guidance (Vita Exclusive):

Head on over to Mainz Mining Village and go into Der Ziegel Inn, talk to the receptionist Noma to accept the quest. Then talk to the waitress Luka and choose the 2nd option.
Head back to Crossbell and obtain the following equipment:

Equip the 4 Purrfect items on Tio. Go back to Der Ziegal Inn and talk to Luka again to complete the quest.

*Note*Don’t forget to switch Tio’s equipment back (if you want to).

Rewards: 3 DP, 3000 Mira.

Guest Lecturer for Sunday School [Continued](Vita Exclusive):
*Note*This sidequest only shows up if you did the “Guest Lecturer for Sunday School” sidequest from the Intermission.

Go to Crossbell Cathedral’s main building and go through the south door for an event. Then talk to Sister Marble to accept the quest. Choose the following answers during the lecture:

*Note* For max DP The sidequest, “Creative Cooks Wanted!” can’t be fully completed yet. It requires having all the recipes (except the last one). This will be covered in the next chapter when you do have them all. Continue with the main story when ready.

Chapter 4-Day 2:

Search for an Important Person:

Head to the Residential Street and examine the gate of the house near the top of the stairs for an event. Go into the house, into the door straight ahead, and talk to Representative Campbell to accept the quest. Exit the room, go through the east door, and examine the desk.

Choose 1st option: Suddenly ran away from home. Go back and talk to Representative Campbell again. Then talk to the Republican Representative on the couch. Go back to the other room and examine the desk again.
Choose 2nd option: This morning.
Choose 3rd option: IBC.

Go into the IBC building for an event. Then talk to the receptionist Lanfei. Next take the elevator up to 16F, go into the room at the end of the hallway, and talk to Mariabell. From there go to Crossbell Airport and talk to the receptionist Marcana. Next head to Crossbell Station on Station Street and go into the platform 1 gate for an event after which you’ll be on a train. Proceed east to the next train car, then east again for an event.

Talk to Carla (purple-haired girl) and choose the following answers:

Rewards: 3(+9)DP, 2000 Mira.

Collecting Flowers for Resting Places:

Head to Crossbell Cathedral and go to the graveyard area, into the small shed. Talk to Old Man Quint to accept the quest. Then head to Tallys’ General Store on West Street and talk to Tally. Obtain 3 types of flowers from the following locations:

Return to Crossbell Cathedral and talk to Old Man Quint again to hand over the flowers and complete the quest.

Rewards: 3 DP, 2000 Mira.

Getting a New Doll(Hidden):

*Note*[This sidequest only shows up if you have 288DP or more
(Your Max DP at this time should be 303 for PSP & PC and 321 for Vita)
If you’re short by 7DP or less, you can complete the “Creative Cooks Wanted!” sidequest now for 3(+4)DP instead of later for 3(+6)DP]

Go to Imelda Antique Shop in the Back Alley and talk to Imelda to accept the quest. Take the bus from the north exit to the intersection, then take the east branch all the way to Rosenburg Studio and save. Examine the gate for a difficult fight:
Boss: Angel Doll x4, Tildawn Doll x4
This will be a difficult fight if you’re unprepared. The Tildawn Dolls reflect all physical attacks including S-crafts, so come prepared with magic. In the tactics menu, place your party members in the 4 corners to minimize damage from the AOE attacks. After the fight, go back through the gate for an event. Return back to Crossbell and talk to Imelda to complete the quest.

Rewards: 8 DP, 5000 Mira.

Chapter 4 – Day 3:

Stargazer’s Tower Monster Extermination:

Go out the south exit to Ursula Road, then take the west-branching path all the way to Stargazer’s Tower. Go up to the roof to find the boss.
Boss: Org Virage x2
Defeat the boss to complete the quest

Rewards: 4 DP, 5000 Mira, Craft Book – Star.

Moon Temple Monster Extermination:

Take the bus from the north exit to the intersection, northwest into the tunnel, then take the west branching path all the way to the Temple of the Moon. Go up to the roof to find the boss.
Boss: Vizou x2
Defeat the boss to complete the quest

Rewards: 4 DP, 5000 Mira, Craft Book – Moon.

Ancient Battlefield Monster Extermination:

Take the bus from the east exit to Armorica Village. Exit the village, take the east branching path to Ancient Battlefield, and go all the way to the last area. Go to the upper left area to find the boss.
Boss: Dark Legend x2.
Defeat the boss to complete the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 5000 Mira, Craft Book – Sun.

Orbal Staff Enhancement:

Head to Guillaume Factory in the Downtown District and talk to Guillame & Roberts to accept the quest. Talk to them again and choose the 3rd option, then the 2nd option to hand over a T-Material Tio will then get the craft Absolute Zero which costs 50CP and has a 100% chance to freeze.

Rewards: 4 DP, 3000 Mira, Tio’s bond points +5.

Final Chapter:

Creative Cooks Wanted:

Head to Vingt-Sept Cafe in Central Square and talk to Selteo in the backroom to accept the quest. Talk to Selteo again and choose the 2nd option to hand over all your peculiar dishes and complete the quest:

*Note* Even if you’re missing a recipe, if you have its peculiar dish in your inventory,
it will still count towards the total for bonus DP (some can be bought). If Reflect Liquid was one of the dishes you handed over (made from Rich Cream Soup), you’ll also get the final recipe, Ripe Onion Soup and an achievement/record.

Rewards: 3(+6)DP, 2000 Mira.

If on NG+ there is one more sidequest available: If not then ingnore this quest.

Strange Phenomenon in the Geofront (NG+Only):

Go to the Residential Street. Then enter Geofront – B Sector and talk to the staff member by the boxes to accept the quest. Head into the newly unlocked door and down the elevator to get to a new section of Geofront – B Sector. Make your way through the dungeon and once you get to the orbment station, save and continue for the dungeon boss.
Boss: Regna Veriel, Executor x2, Frost Slime x3
The boss can inflict Confuse, Seal, and Freeze, so plan accordingly. After beating the boss, go north, up the elevator, then south to complete the quest.

Rewards: 4 DP, 5000 Mira.
