Throughout each Chapter in Trails of Cold Steel, there are hidden side quests that will earn you more AP. Here is a guide on how to find and complete all of them.

Chapter 1:

Day : April 18, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Trista.

Quest: Story of Seasoning.

Go to Kirsche’s Cafe & Inn and talk to Fred. Next go to the Home Ec Room in the Main Building F2 and speak to Nicholas. From there head over to the Student Union Building and talk to the Chef Ramsay. Finally return to Fred to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP, Crispy Pizza x3

Day : April 24, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Celdic.

Field Study; Quest: A Day As A Merchant.

Head over to the Grand Market southwest side and talk to Lymon. Then accept his proposal to run the stall. From there a series of choices will follow. Answer them in this order:

35 Mira in Total (3rd Choice)
900 Mira (1st Choice)
Include some cheese for 20% off (2nd Choice)
Sell 6 for 60 Mira (5th Choice)

Completion Rewards: 3 + 2 AP, Coral Bracelet and Marble Bracelet.

Chapter 2:

Day : May 23, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Trista.

Quest: A Rose by Any Other Name.

Head over to the Art Room on the Main Floor Building 2F and talk to Linde. Accept the request then proceed over to the front gate. Linde will stop you to ask for another request. Now head over to Trista’s Gardening Shop and speak to Jane. Return back to Linde to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP, Cozy Socks and Healing Belt.

Day : May 30, Location: Bareahard.

Field Study; Quest: The Lost Traveler

Head over to Aurochs Fort, and speak to Anton who is standing right near the Main Entrence. He explains he’s lost and wants to return back to Bareahard. Escort him back to the city to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP and A Napping Mishy.

Chapter 3:

Day : June 20, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Trista.

Quest: A Sticky Situation.

Head over to the Cortyard, and talk to Munk. Accept his request and help him find his missing stickers. (They can be found in any Order).

Once you’ve found all of them return to Munk to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP and a Blue Pendulum.

Day : June 27, Location: Nord Highlands.

Field Study; Quest: Connecting Hearts

Head over to Zender Gate and Speak to Sharl Twice. Accept the request and return to the Nomadic settlement. Go talk to Thoma who’s near a well. Then report back to Sharl to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP and a Special Pizza.

Chapter 4:

Day : July 18, Time of Day: Noon, Location: Trista

Quest: Swimming Lessons

Note: Must Complete Snapped and Childhood Friend’s Intention.

After Completing the two quest mentioned above, you’ll receive a call from Instructor Neithardt. Head over to the Faculty Lounge in the Main Building 1F and speak to him. From there you’ll be swimming against your fellow male peers. Choose who you want to race against. By winning the race you earn 1 bonus AP. Watch the scene afterwards to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 (+1) AP and 5 Tearal Blams.

Day : July 18, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Trista.

Quest: A Brush with Destiny.

Head over to the Incinerator near the Main Building, and talk to Janitor Gyler. Accept his request then proceed to the Principal’s Office, and Speak to Principal Vandyck to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP and a Holy Sphere.

Day : July 26, Location: Hiemdallr.

Field Study; Quest: In Case of Emergency.

Talk to Bond in front of Plaza Bifrost (Vainqueur Street). Accept his request then move to the Fresh Juice Stall in front of Hotel – Der Himmel in the Garnier District, and talk to Jonathan. From there proceed to Concert Cafe – Etoile on Alto Street, and Speak to the Tourist to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP and a Running Mishy.

Chapter 5:

Day : August 22, Time of Day: Noon, Location: Trista.

Quest: Swimming Lessons Mk II.

Note: Must Complete Thors’ 7 Mysteries and Side by Sidecar.

After Completing the two quest mentioned above, you’ll receive a call from Instructor Sara. Head over to the Faculty Lounge in the Main building 1F and speak to her. From there you’ll be swimming against your fellow female peers. Choose who you want to race against. By winning the race you earn 1 bonus AP. Watch the scene afterwards to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 (+1) AP and a Zeram Capsule.

Day : August 22, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Trista.

Quest: The Sleeping Boy.

Head over to the House in Southeast Trista near the Pawn Shop, and talk to Hanna. Now go to the Trista Chapel and find Kurt. Select the First Choice to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP, 5x Royal Sable, 5x Luxury Tart and Premium Coffee.

Day : August 29, Location: Legram.

Field Study; Quest: Charm of the Eisenritter.

Head over to the Docks and talk to Cindy. Accept her request and proceed to Ebel Highway 2. Obtain the Luminous Grass that is marked on the map. Return to Cindy to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP, Fairy Brooch.

Chapter 6:

Day : September 15, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Trista.

Quest: Celestin’s Secret.

Head over to the Gymnasium and talk to Patrick. Choose the First Choice, then proceed to the Upper Class Dormitory, and speak to Lotte. Next go to Class VII Dormitory and talk to Sharon. Save the Game, then head over to Kirsche’s Cafe & Inn, and speak to Celestin by the counter. Agree to play the mini game. You get +2 bonus AP if you guess the card correctly. If you don’t get it on the first try, just reload your save file, and try again. Once that’s done report back to Patrick to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 3 (+2) AP and a Still Blue.

Day : September 25, Time of Day: Evening, Location: Roer.

Field Study; Quest: Midnight Hide-and-Seek.

Head over to the West Lower Layer and talk to Locomo near the RF Store. Accept his request and head back upstairs to the area marked ??? on the Map. Examine the Wooden Box to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP and 5x U-Material.

Chapter 7:

Day : October 21, Time of Day: Noon, Location: Trista.

Last Hidden Quest: Duly Noted.

Head Over to the Courtyard and talk to Vice Principal Heinrich Twice. Then proceed to the Rooftop of the Main Building, and speak to the Student Council Member. Next head over to the Academy Field Entrance and talk to a Female Student near the wooden board. From there head over to the Old Schoolhouse and speak to Rex. Finally report back to Heinrich to complete the quest.

Completion Rewards: 4 AP and a Golden Bell Quartz.
